This hotel was a lovely surprise. Situated in what I would describe as a "funky" area of Munich, it was surrounded by a variety of stores, restaurants, conveniences, and public transportation access. Getting to the stops for bus, U- and S-bahn was easy and straightforward. The hotel itself was nice. Clean, updated, and while not luxurious, at least comfortable. I had a difficult time working the thermostat in my room, but since I didn't bother asking for help, that was on me. The room size was more generous than I expected, comfortably accommodating a king size bed (two twins pushed together), small desk, bench along an entire wall, and a bathroom with a shower large enough to actually turn around in. The property restaurant offered a delicious variety of breakfast items daily, and one day even made me an incredible omelet. The only confusion I had was when they asked if I'd like to add breakfast to my room. Since they did not collect a credit card to charge any incidentals upon my arrival, I assumed (hope shouldn't be a strategy) that breakfast was included. Upon checkout I was charged 90+ Euros (fair, and again, I could have asked), but it would have been nice to know up front. It was a very pleasant stay in a quiet room with great access to everywhere I needed to go. Most destinations (Christmas markets, primarily, and a few sightseeing locations) were within a 20-30 minute ride on the public transport. Simple, even if not quick, to get around. I would highly recommend this location, and would stay again.
